The Buyside Relationship team works closely with the Dealogic Connect Sales, Product, and Research team on a daily basis to manage a growing list of over 200 Buyside firms globally, managing, supporting and servicing clients with their calendar planning, tracking of activities and voting process.
The Role
The Senior Relationship Associate is responsible for managing frontline relationships across a group of Buyside firms. The Senior Relationship Associate is a product expert who provides intelligent and focused support to both senior and junior level users, building relationships throughout the institutional investor.
The Senior Relationship Associate also works with Equity Syndicate and Trading desks across institutional investors to support deal execution using Dealogic Order component.
Increase Adoption and Maximise Product Value
- Understand Dealogic’s client base and work to strengthen and broaden the relationship through supporting, training and strategic dialogue with key users and contacts
- Identify opportunities to increase the footprint of the product (and other Dealogic products) throughout all covered clients including the running of client workshops and knowledge sharing sessions, topical presentations and regular face to face meetings
- Identify and approach new senior contacts within institutional investors
- Identify issues and potential concerns in the relationship and work to rectify these (with sales, client relations, development, IT, other products) in a timely manner
- Maintain and execute a “relationship plan” for each of the covered clients
- Work closely with the sales team on new client pitches, attending these as the product expert, presenting the product and discussing the value proposition
Client Connectivity
- Manage and develop frontline relationships with buy side firms and serve as central point of contact to major asset management firms, assisting with quantitative analysis and strategic advising on best practices for MiFID II regulations
- Actively lead efforts to build the Dealogic brand and pitch the product to potential clients
- Provide support to users on aggregated calendar views, reconciliation of data and annual broker analysis based both subjectively and off of resource consumption, recommending ways for clients to achieve desired goals and overseeing issues through resolution by working with internal and client IT team
- Recommend best practices to clients to create more consistent and optimized usage
Client Training
- Take lead in delivery of client trainings at all levels of client seniority; remote or onsite
- Oversee client upgrades
- Recommend new approaches to communicate product enhancements to existing users
- Support internal teams where and when required (sales, research, product, media team-marketing, special analysis; development-specifications, testing; cross-product-training, info sessions) to drive projects through execution
- Execute other special projects to support client workflows

- Proven ability to understand external clients’ strategy
- An understanding of the banking and capital markets
- Experience working at or with an institutional investor(s) (desirable)
