The Role

The DCM Junior Research Associate will function as a researcher and bank contact for the debt capital market desk. The role is primarily to capture, understand, enter and verify data of DCM transactions by means of tracking varied sources and locating prospectuses, Offering Memorandums, term sheets and other public information.

Research and Deal Gathering

  • Utilize various sources to gather and validate DCM transactions
  • Guarantee accurate, timely and complete data and deal coverage
  • Conduct relevant deal data reconciliations with banks and market participants

Data Entry, Data Validation and Data Projects

  • Input deal, company, industry and financial data for transactions
  • Verify data entry work, completed by the research team to ensure accuracy and timeliness of information; manage and implement historical and current data projects

About You

The Junior Research Associate requires a systematic, creative and open approach to data gathering and data management. The role also requires excellent organization skills and the ability to learn quickly.

Skills & Experience

Education/Qualification

  • Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent (desirable)

Languages

  • Fluent in Spanish/Italian/Portuguese
  • Excellent standard of spoken and written English
  • Additional European languages (desirable)
