The Role

The Application Support Analyst (Associate Technical Support Engineer) will field calls directly from clients and via the relationship team. The ATSE will also work closely with client based IT groups, internal client relationship teams and product specialists to provide seamless high quality support.

The role includes the following but not limited to:

  • Provide 1st instance high quality support to a global investment banking client base for all Dealogic products
  • Respond to, prioritise, escalate or resolve data delivery problems to various reporting applications, on a daily, intra-day, weekly, monthly and quarterly basis
  • Liaise with 2nd and 3rd line teams to ensure effective escalation of large scale, high impact issues
  • Ensure other client facing teams are kept up-to-date and informed of incidents and events in their business lines
  • Take ownership over incidents and events, accurately and fully recording information in a central ticketing system

About You

The position holder will have the ability to communicate effectively and persuasively with stakeholders including clients, support staff, client relationship and development teams.

Skills & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer related discipline or equivalent
  • Microsoft Accreditation (i.e. MCITP)

Practical Experience

  • Experience in application support
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Office suite

  • Excellent understanding of technology and system architecture concepts
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Worked in a client facing position
  • Experience of dealing with internal and external clients in often pressurised situations
  • Understanding of financial markets (desirable)
