Solves MiFID II Regulatory Needs for Commission Tracking

May 25, 2017

Financial markets platform company Dealogic announces its integration with Instinet Incorporated (Instinet) through that firm’s research management offering “RQ Connect.” Instinet, through its brokerage subsidiaries, provides agency-focused services to clients around the world via an advanced suite of tools. Instinet is a member of the Nomura Group of companies.

Dealogic will integrate its activity and evaluation data into RQ Connect, part of Instinet Plazma’s hub for MiFID II research payments. Investment managers can review, edit, and confirm this information at their desktop and authorize payments through Instinet Europe’s certified Payment Institution license.

“Through our product Dealogic Connect more than 250 buyside firms connect to 300 banks,” noted Jody Drulard, Chief Product Officer. “We want to make the interactions as easy as possible, and know our clients appreciate the options this connection gives them.”

Dealogic Connect offers a seamless electronic connection between the buyside and sellside. Investment firms can reconcile and evaluate all sellside-provided activities, ensuring a complete audit trail satisfying MiFID II regulatory needs, as well as input IOIs to their brokers on primary markets issuance.
